We are searching for an individual who is committed to upholding the law and adjudicating cases fairly and efficiently. Our ideal candidate should possess strong legal skills, good judgment, decisiveness, a high level of personal integrity, patience, and excellent people skills.The purpose of the Court Commissioner - Judicial and Family is to conduct preliminary court proceedings in family, small claims, criminal, civil, and traffic cases for Sauk County.
Required Working Hours
Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am until 4:30 pm. Please note these hours are subject to change and additional hours may be needed or required. Compensation for additional hours beyond normal working hours are subject to applicable state and federal regulations.
Required:
Licensed to practice law in the State of Wisconsin
3 years family, criminal, or civil law experience
Any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
