Traore and "Unlock Your Pain" by Jennifer Bastian On view: June 30 – September 7, 2025 Experience the rich emotional textures of Alice Traore’s watercolor works exploring bias, rest, and liberation. Her pieces are an act of quiet rebellion and healing—an invitation to witness the beauty of Black women’s inner worlds. Alongside, Jennifer Bastian's evocative fiber and photographic work delves into grief, disability, ritual, and transformation. Rooted in disability justice and personal discovery, her practice honors vulnerability and the labor of healing, both individual and collective. Meet the artists, reflect with community, and connect over art that speaks to resilience, care, and the possibility of change. Jennifer Bastian is an immunocompromised artist. She has requested that attendees to the reception Unlock Your Pain wear face masks inside the gallery. This protects her health and the health of others more vulnerable than her.
